Privacy Statement

The Taltz® TouchPoint™ Program ("Program") is managed and administered by Atlantis Health (Australia) Pty Ltd ("Atlantis Health"), an independent patient support program provider on behalf of the sponsor Eli Lilly Australia Pty Ltd ("Lilly"). You are free to opt out of the program or any of its services at any time.

Atlantis Health is the organisation that collects your personal information required for your participation in the Program. Your personal information maybe shared with or collected on our behalf by third parties, for the fulfilment of services to you as part of the Program, including injection training services, or where you have given consent, for the purposes of medical research.

Both Atlantis Health and Lilly take your privacy seriously and are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained within the Privacy Act 1988 (as amended from time to time). Your personal information will be held on a database on a secure server within Australia (maintained by Atlantis Health, the Program administrator), except as otherwise described below. The types of personal information collected from you will depend on your involvement in the Program, as detailed below. You do not have to share your personal information with us, but if you choose not to share your information, we will not be able to provide you with access to the Program.

Lilly may transmit personal information about you to other Lilly affiliates worldwide. These affiliates may in turn transmit personal information about you to other Lilly affiliates. Some of Lilly’s affiliates may be located in countries that do not legislate an adequate level of data protection. Nevertheless, all of Lilly’s affiliates are required to treat personal information in a manner consistent with this notice.

Your information will be saved for a period needed to fulfill legitimate and lawful business purposes in accordance with Lilly’s records retention policies and applicable laws and regulations. We provide reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal information we work with and maintain. Please be aware, although we try to protect the information we work with and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

For Patients

Details of personal information provided by physicians about patients are available in the patient enrolment information and consent form. During the Program further details about your treatment will be collected by Atlantis Health and may be shared with your treating doctor. If you provided your consent, anonymised information (meaning information not disclosing your identity) may be use in anonymised population level data for the purpose of medical research or Lilly marketing communications.

In the event of an adverse event or other complaint being reported while enrolled in the Program, Lilly, Atlantis Health or an authorised third party may contact you for the purpose of follow-up. Atlantis is legally obliged to share adverse event information with Lilly and this information will not be anonymised or de-identified. Where Lilly receives an adverse event report, your information will be saved for a period needed to fulfill legitimate and lawful business purposes in accordance with Lilly’s records retention policies and applicable laws and regulations.

For Physicians

Your personal information including name, prescriber number, business/practice address, contact information, information provided on this program and your use of this patient support program will be collected by Atlantis Health. We may also use the information to meet legal or regulatory obligations, inclusive of company record retention or to disclose your information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to comply with national security or law enforcement requests.

Your information may be combined with information from other sources, research, promotional programs and other users of this patient support program data in Australia and shared with Lilly. Your personal information will be used by Atlantis Health, Lilly, or third parties acting on our behalf, for the purpose of administration, scheduling and performing of services, monitoring the quality, usage of and making improvements to the Program. Your personal information may be shared with third parties for these purposes and consistent with this notice. All third parties that have access to your information have agreed to protect the information and to use it only as directed by us.
